About Us

My name is Lee Jones and I live on the Mornington Peninsula with my wife and two young girls aged 6 and 2.

I spend most of my time outside of work with the family and trying to get outdoors as much as posisble. Spending time at the beach, bike riding, doing all things kid related and catching up with family and friends.

I originally started working in the HVAC industry by completing my Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning apprenticeship with AE Smith Melbourne. I spent my years as an apprentice doing typical maintenance based work, project installations and refurbs of small to medium sized cooling and heating systems  along side some great technicians.

Towards the end of my apprenticeship I was lucky enough to help out in the Controls department offering assistance with commissioning, this is when I made the switch to a more dedicated controls/BMS type role.

I then applied for a new position in the AE Smith Technology division where I have grown from a junior controls tech to a senior controls engineer over the past 12years.

As a senior controls engineer my daily tasks have merged into a more overall position in the industry and include the following tasks: product tech support, maintenance type tasks, sales and estimation, controls programming and engineering, project management, site or remote commissioning, to name a few.

-ABB/Cylon Aspect Studio Certified, 12+ years experience

-American Auto-Matrix BACnet and PUP Field DDC programming

-Tridium AX Certified

-Tridium N4 Certified

-EasyIO/CPT Certified

-12+years programming experience with BACnet Protocol

-Modbus Protocol programming experience

-Completed 2week Project Management Course

-Completed Short Course in Small Business
